Callen + Brian | Westin Crystal City

You know how sometimes it rains for days on end and you feel like you're never going to see the sun again… that pretty much sums up the 10-12 days before Callen and Brian's January wedding. But, when the morning of January 2nd rolled around, the weather finally cleared up and the sun came out, setting the tone for a beautiful day.

Callen and Brian's sweet ceremony took place in Arlington, VA, minutes from the couples home. Following the ceremony, family and friends were treated to dinner and dancing at the Westin Crystal City. Soft pastels and a pop of gold set the tone for the reception room as the couple welcomed their guests to the celebration. Callen thanked everyone for coming while Brian opted to remind them that each guest had been meticulously selected and warned that he better see everyone on the dance floor!

There wasn't a dry eye in the room when Callen's sisters toasted the bride and groom. One of them shared sweet movie quotes about love, a nod to her and Callen's habit of speaking to each other in quotes, and ended with the declaration that in that moment, the world was just as it should be. The other matron of honor thanked everyone for taking time out of their busy lives and reminisced about teaching Callen to climb out of her crib. Both sweetly welcomed Brian to the family, just as Brian's best man welcomed Callen, after joking about treating his speech as a roast!

The night was full of sweet moments, like Callen's dad being Skyped in for every special minute, Callen and her mom dancing to a song that she was rocked to as a baby and the flower girl dancing the night away.
